Introduction
Having familiarity with fundamental employment law principles is an extremely useful tool in the armoury of any personal injury lawyer; it can assist with understanding and drafting complaints, direct to the appropriate forum for the claim, and provide invaluable guidance in assessing value. Without employment law know-how, there is also a risk that a personal injury lawyer might fail to identify an extant and valuable employment claim, resulting in the same not being presented within the strict time limits imposed.
Moreover, recent legislative changes, in particular with regards to the obligation on employers to prevent sexual harassment, should be firmly within a personal injury lawyer’s mind as a potential fertile ground for litigation.
This webinar will introduce fundamental employment law concepts that can arise in personal injury litigation in a user-friendly and practical way. You will have the chance to engage with worked examples, maximising the chance of them being able to put the new knowledge to use in the ‘real world’ so as to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
