Introduction
Prosthetic design continues to develop, most recently with the release of the Genium X4. Whilst prosthetic technology progresses, the cost of prostheses is also rising.
Join Peter Durkin, prosthetist and founding director of Steps prosthetics, and Richard Biggs, partner and amputation case specialist at Irwin Mitchell, to explore the latest in prosthetic design and consider how best to deal with increasing costs in prosthetics in a personal injury settlement.
Peter will look at the very latest in prosthetics, from the Luke arm to the Genium X4 and will look to the future to see what new technology might be expected in the coming years.
Richard will consider whether a personal injury case can ever be ‘future proofed’ to protect a Claimant to ensure there are sufficient funds in the settlement to cover future increase in prosthetic costs.
This webinar is suitable for anyone with an interest in amputation cases and prosthetic design.
