Introduction
This webinar will look at the innovative FDAC (Family Drugs and Alcohol Court) and the impact it is having on public law Children Act proceedings.
It will provide guidance on what the FDAC does and how parents who misuse substances and alcohol can be supported to benefit from the service so that more families can be kept together.
The Court’s involvement and powers in relation to taking the FDAC track will be considered, as will the role and perspective of the Local Authority, children’s guardian, and parents’ representatives.
