Bullying & Harassment in the Workplace - An Update on the New Legislation

Introduction

Bullying and harassment are challenging issues to manage in the workplace, and new legislation was introduced on 26 October 2024 which extends the duty on the employer with specific reference to harassment of a sexual nature.

This webinar will look broadly at what is meant by bullying and harassment. It will consider the duty of care that the employer has to all employees, which requires them to address problems promptly and effectively.

It will then look at the new duties that were introduced on 26 October 2024 and consider what the employer should do to address potential situations of harassment of a sexual nature, and also consider how this helps to understand the requirements to manage bullying and harassment more widely.
