Introduction

Changes to CQS introduced by The Law Society since 2019 have been plentiful and impact on all CQS accredited practices.

CQS compliance is not merely the successful completion of the CQS application process. Compliance is reliant on meeting the obligations within the scheme rules which is often overlooked.

With CQS onsite assessments now actively being carried out by The Law Society, CQS accredited firms must ensure they are following the CPMS requirements as updated in 2022, they are ‘assessment ready’, and they are complying with the most up to date CQS Scheme Rules of November 2024.

During this webinar, former CQS Lead Assessor Tracy Thompson will provide an insight into the key features of the most important updates to be published, and will explain the current requirements and how they need to be complied with in practice.

Tracy will also provide valuable feedback in relation to common areas of non-compliance identified through her compliance assessments of CQS firms.
