Introduction

Mental health in the workplace, with particular focus on issues involving stress at work, is an increasingly important and prevalent topic.

As such, employees are more aware of their legal rights to raise complaints with their employer and, in turn, there is increased emphasis on employers managing complaints of stress at work with a greater degree of scrutiny.
