Introduction

Conveyancing support staff are at the front line and must understand the importance of conduct issues that bind their regulated employers.

Avoiding breaches of confidentiality and being able to recognise a conflict of interest are two key risk management areas for conveyancing firms. Given the volume of calls and emails that support staff have to deal with, the risk of breaching the duty of confidentiality is high.
