Introduction
This webinar will bring you up to date with developments in EU law, with which UK businesses exporting into the EU must (or are likely in the future to have to) comply.
This webinar will assist UK practitioners in understanding the relevance of CJEU decisions on interpretation of domestic consumer protection legislation. It is likely to be of particular interest to manufacturers and legal advisers to manufacturers in addressing questions of compliance and third-party risk.

- The 2021 CJEU decision in VI v KRONE-Verlag Gesellschaft mbH and Co KG (Case C-65/20) (limiting the definition of ‘product’)
- The 2022 CJEU decision in Keskinäinen Vakuutusyhtiö Fennia v Koninklijke Philips NV (concerning the definition of ‘producer’)
- The General Product Safety Regulation, adopted by the EU Parliament on 30 March 2023
