Introduction
The Fittings and Contents Form is attached to virtually every contract of sale of residential land in England and Wales. So, there are no problems, right?
Well, not necessarily. The conveyancer acting for the seller and buyer must understand the land law principles relating to fittings and contents and must be able to advise their client if something goes wrong. For many clients, the fittings and contents are more important than the actual property purchase.
Anything new to a conveyancer represents a risk and this one-hour webinar will cover some of the key practice points that the conveyancer should consider.
What You Will Learn
This webinar will cover the following:
- What are the land law principles regarding fixtures and fittings and why do they matter?
- What is the relevance of the contract?
- Some key cases
- What if something goes wrong? Who is liable?
This pre-recorded webinar will be available to view from Wednesday 16th October 2024
