Introduction
The anti-doping rules are designed to ensure both horse welfare and a level playing field. However they are full of pitfalls for equestrian athletes who face unique challenges to ensure they stay the right side of the line. In turn there are implications for other stakeholders in the sport such as feed manufacturers and sponsors.
This short webinar will allow you to understand the legal framework of anti-doping rules and the sanctioning regime applied within equestrian sport. You will also learn practical tips from James Pheasant (ranked in Chambers and Partners for his work in Equestrian and Horseracing) to help navigate the procedure in disciplinary proceedings and to assist clients in managing the risks posed to them by the rules.
