Course Outline
Introduction
Section 91 (14) of the Children Act 1989 (CA 1989) allows the court to make an order preventing a named person from making any application under the CA 1989 in relation to a child without the court’s permission.
The Domestic Abuse Act 2021 provided greater clarity on when the court can make a section 91(14) order by the introduction of new section 91A of the CA 1989. PD 12Q accompanies section 91A of the CA 1989, giving further information on when a section 91(14) order may be appropriate.
This webinar will consider s91A and PD12Q as well as providing a useful summary of the recent case of P v F [2023].
