Introduction

£276.2 million was recovered through confiscation and forfeiture in 2022-2023.

Now over 20 years old, the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (‘POCA’) continues to play a central role in the recovery of criminal property. The aim of the regime is to ‘deny criminals the use of their assets, recover the proceeds of crime and disrupt and deter criminality.’

Presented by expert speaker Rachel Ferrari of 33 Chancery Lane, this new virtual classroom seminar will set out the core powers, together with the most recent case law and practice in this ever-evolving area.
