Course Outline
Introduction
Large-scale new developments have a key role to play in addressing housing needs.
The latest policy initiative, ‘Garden Communities’, was launched in 2014, and the programme now includes around 50 schemes. Planning on this scale offers particular legal, political and practical challenges for authorities and promoters.
This virtual classroom seminar will consider what needs to be addressed when planning on this scale and will offer practical insights based on first-hand experience of delivering schemes.
The training will include insights into planning and delivery issues for Garden Communities and other large-scale residential projects.
