Introduction
Spinal injuries include quadriplegia and paraplegia which are among the highest value of tort case. Such claimants will have lifelong issues with mobility, continence and independence.
It is important to understand the basis of the injury and its likely effects. Often, spinally injured claimants will be at risk of deterioration that will disclose possible contingency awards. Life expectancy is always an issue because of the large care and accommodation claims that these cases usually involve.
