Introduction

It is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage, and around 1 in 250 births is a stillbirth in the UK.

If a woman has a stillbirth she is entitled to maternity leave, however UK law does not allow for any specific leave relating to miscarriage.

This short webinar explains the leave that is available, what employers should think about, the support that should be provided for those affected and what to include in a policy setting out support.
