Introduction
Consumer law issues are increasingly topical given the changes made to enforcement in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
Under these new rules, in force from April 2025, the courts and the Competition and Markets Authority can fine traders up to 10% of annual global turnover in the event of serious breaches of consumer law.
These changes mean that it is essential for lawyers and their clients to refresh their knowledge in order to ensure compliance and avoid being fined.
This webinar provides brief snapshots of the key areas where traders are most at risk.
