Clive Smith
Clive spent 10 years in chambers in London practising criminal law and appeared at all levels from the Magistrates to Court of Appeal. He has extensive experience in the youth court, dealing with young and vulnerable witnesses and is qualified as a lead facilitator undertaking training on the ‘vulnerable witness’ courses run by the Inns of Court, Circuits and the Law Society. In the Crown Court Clive dealt with serious offences including rape, murder, kidnapping and firearms. Clive now teaches exclusively on a wide range of topics. He has undertaken training to both prosecutors and defence practitioners on advocacy, criminal evidence, criminal procedure, bad character and hearsay, sentencing, and sexual offences.
