Mike Pettit

Mike is a Senior Manager in PwC’s Tax Disputes network where he works on both corporate and High net worth Individual disputes. Prior to Joining PwC in 2015 Mike was an Assistant Director in HMRC's Large Business Directorate where he led nationally on Tax Avoidance and also controlled some of the HMRC's largest and most complex High Risk Corporate Project tax enquiries. Mike helped formulate HMRC's Litigation and Settlement Strategy, led for HMRC in respect of Unallowable Purpose and both sat on and appeared before HMRC’s highest governance bodies. Mike is professionally qualified having passed both HMRC’s internal tax exams and also the Chartered Institute of Taxation professional exams as well as being a qualified Mediator.
